Preparation:
1. EXFOLIATE WELL and shave the day before your spray tan. If you must exfoliate the same day as your spray, using an exfoliating cloth is the preferred method. 2. Avoid using bar soap or body washes with essential oils, exfoliating ingredients or moisturizers the day of your spray tan. 3. Avoid using any heavy or oily lotions the day of your tan. A small amount of oil-free facial moisturizer is generally okay, as long as it is applied more than an hour before your spray tanning session. 4. Use a Sunless Tan Prep Treatment. This will help your tan to last longer and fade evenly. *You can opt to have the booths spray you with a prep treatment during your session and take the guess work out of application! |
After-Care
1. After your spray tanning session, dress in loose fitting clothing and avoid putting on leather shoes. Please avoid wearing leggings. 2. Avoid showering and sweating heavily for a minimum of 6 hours. If you wait longer than 12 hours to shower, your sunless tan will last longer. *Using a Prep treatment will accelerate the development time and allow you to shower sooner! 3. Avoid exfoliating or scrubbing your skin throughout the life of your tan. You may also want to avoid hot tubs, saunas, chlorinated water and hot yoga. 4. Well moisturized skin will aid in your tan fading evenly and looking natural from beginning to end.
